Meet Our Team
Kevin Roulhac, Principal
My name is Kevin Roulhac and I am the principal at Maize Intermediate School. Educators have always played an extremely important role in my life. These individuals provided me with a safe, supportive and caring environment when I needed it the most in my life. There were many educators that played a vital role in my journey, that I knew that I wanted to have that same type of positive impact on someone's life.
I have worked in the Maize School District in a variety of roles since 2011. I began my teaching career at Maize High School as a Social Studies teacher. After eight years at Maize High, I moved on to a building leadership role at Maize Middle School as an Assistant Principal/Athletics Director. I spent three years in that role, and stepped away from the District for one year to do training, consulting and speaking to teachers and principals across the country. The pull to come back "home" to the Maize School District became too strong, and I accepted the head principal position at Maize Intermediate School. I am in my second year as head principal at MIS and I truly love every single day!
My wife Lauren Roulhac, is a 1st Grade Teacher at Pray-Woodman, and has worked in the Maize School District for 12 years. We have 4 children who all attend the Maize School District - Bristyl, Elliot, Avery and Jonah. When I am not at work, there is nothing more I enjoy than spending time with my family. We are in the season of life where we are spending most of our time running in between activities, friends houses and sporting events. Lauren and I can not express how much we love the Maize School District community, and we are excited to continue to pour into and grow the students of USD 266!
